Mesmé Joins Into The Woods, Kicks Off Mix Series
Into the Woods is very excited to welcome Mesmé, a bright and creative member of the LA music underground, to our resident DJ lineup. As curator of Misfit events and creator of mysterious and hypnotic music, Mesmé was a perfect fit for our journeys into darkness.
To celebrate this occasion we asked Mesmé to create a mix that will launch our brand new Into The Woods mix series. She’s delivered a perfect journey for the season that runs through techno, dub, and breakbeats from artists such as Donato Dozzy, Pugilist, Deepchord, and at least one original from Mesmé as well.

About Mesmé
Since making the move from the Midwest to LA (via Singapore) back in 2016, Mesmé has quickly become one of Los Angeles' most beloved young DJs within a relatively short amount of time, largely due to her unique, vinyl-heavy sets incorporating elements of hypnotic house, moody electro, thumping breaks, and ambient techno. After making waves with her signature lounge night, Misfit (a soon-to-be record label), she was awarded as an "Emerging Artist To Watch" by DJ Mag in January 2019.
Aside from her rising career as a DJ, Mesmé is also affiliated with the leading LA underground platform, Restless Nites, where she serves as Lead Curator, regularly on the look-out for essential and inspiring nightlife in Los Angeles. She's appeared on NTS Radio, Dublab, and most recently on Rinse FM as a special guest on Mall Grab's fortnightly show. Her debut EP, the culmination of her work over the last few years, is set to be released in late 2019.
